We are very excited about our upcoming 2017 summer exhibits!!

Opening first will be the BRAGging Rights exhibit at the Yancey County Library. This exhibit opens on August 3rd and runs through September 9th. The "Meet the Artists" reception will be on August 3rd from 5-7pm. One of the requirements of the artists for this exhibit is that the work they enter has not been seen in the area before. It promises to be a fun exhibit full of new art.

Next up is the Toe River Valley exhibit, which takes place in the galleries of the Toe River Arts Council in both Spruce Pine and Burnsville. The Burnsville Exhibit runs from August 19 – September 23. The Spruce Pine Exhibit runs from August 25 – September 23. Both of these exhibits will be showing art that is inspired by the Toe River Valley Watershed. There will be a reception in the Spruce Pine Gallery on August 25th from 5pm-7pm. A closing reception will be held in the Burnsville Gallery on September 22nd. Both galleries promise to be filled with wonderful art, so be sure to visit both galleries.
